  • Black Ruby tea is grown about 1,600 meters above sea level in the mountainous areas of Nepal, where the cool climate and constant fog slow down the long oxidation process of this tea. Once the desired color and smell is achieved, the natural oxidation process is stopped by slowly drying and ripening the tea. This tea is like wine, the longer it is kept, the better it gets. Black Ruby tea has an expressive sweet spice flavor, with barely perceptible caramel notes, but at the same time with a mild and soft aftertaste.
