  • First Flush Darjeeling whole leaf tea is a premium spring harvest black tea from the Himalayan slopes of India, cherished by tea connoisseurs worldwide. Picked in early spring – March to April – when the tea bushes awaken from winter dormancy and produce their very first tender buds, this short harvesting window yields a tea with unparalleled freshness and complexity.

Although officially classified as black tea, First Flush Darjeeling undergoes only light oxidation, resulting in a liquor and flavor profile closer to fine oolong or white teas. The infusion glows with a golden amber hue and reveals a light body with a lively, floral fragrance. On the palate, it offers delicate spring blossom notes, fresh-cut grass brightness, a gentle muscat grape character, and a subtle fruitiness reminiscent of young peaches or green grapes.

This tea is perfect for those who seek a refined yet refreshing black tea experience – light, elegant, and beautifully aromatic, with a clean, lingering finish.
