About the Tasting

This tasting is designed for those who wish to explore the world of matcha more deeply. Participants will try several types of matcha – from premium to the highest ceremonial grade. In the practical part, guests learn how to properly prepare matcha: whisking it with a bamboo whisk, achieving the perfect layer of foam, and understanding the impact of shade-growing and stone-grinding on the tea’s quality.

During the session, we also present a broader spectrum of Japanese powdered teas, including roasted hojicha and genmaicha. To showcase the versatility of matcha, participants are served a matcha latte, and to finish – a tasting of our own handmade matcha chocolate. This experience reveals tea in both its traditional and contemporary forms.
