About the Tasting

A tea tasting is an immersive journey through the world of tea, featuring eight different varieties from diverse regions. We begin with a light white tea, refreshing green teas from Japan and China, move on to the elegant first-flush Darjeeling from the Himalayas, rich Chinese Puer tea, and fruity teas from Nepal, finishing with surprising discoveries from other regions. During the tasting, participants are introduced to the main categories of tea – green, white, oolong, black, and pu-erh – and learn how they differ in processing and flavor. Each tea is presented in detail: its origin, cultivation and production methods, as well as its aroma and taste nuances.

Guests also learn the art of proper tea preparation – the ideal water temperature, steeping time, and proportions to bring out the full flavor. This experience is not only a sensory delight but also a practical lesson in recognizing high-quality tea from everyday blends.
