Standard grade Fukamushi Sencha is made using slightly older leaves than those used in Fukamushi Sencha 01 tea. These leaves are still of high quality, but may contain younger and mature leaves. The longer steaming process enhances the depth of flavor, so the tea is a little weaker in umami flavour than the premium variety, but still has a robust and satisfying vegetal flavor. The color is bright green and the balance of sweetness and umami is still detectable in the flavor profile. A great choice for those who want to get to know long-steamed, spring Fukamushi teas.

3 teaspoons (5 g.) / 150 ml70° C
45 seconds for the first infusion, 30 seconds for the second - third infusions.
