  • Oriental Beauty-style tea from Lai Chau, Vietnam – this is a special type of Oolong which acquires its flavor and aroma due to a unique interaction between the tea leaves and nature: the leaves are attacked by certain leafhoppers (tea jassids / green leafhoppers), whose biting triggers a plant's "defensive reaction," causing the release of terpenes and other compounds that provide a honey-like sweetness, fruitiness, and floral notes.

This tea is grown at an elevation of 1000–1200 meters above sea level in the Ban Bo village (Tam Duong district, Lai Chau province), where the climate, soil microelements, and temperature fluctuations significantly contribute to its uniqueness.

The leaf cultivars – such as Tippy Shan, Jin Xuan Oolong, Midori Japanese – add even more nuances: the Jin Xuan cultivar is known for creamy, gentle sweetness and rich, creamy tones; other varieties add touches of florality, herbal, or green notes.

Among the leaves, you can see the shimmer of silvery hairs ("white tip"), which is a sign that the tea was harvested together with the buds.

Tea Color: Light gold, brownish-golden, warm amber.

Flavor: Sweet, with notes of honey, caramel, flowers, and warm fruit, with a subtle hint of grass, but without any harsh bitterness.

Aroma: Becomes more intense as the tea cools down a bit, revealing even more natural, fruity tones.
