A spring-harvested Japanese matcha, stone-milled in small batches and created specifically for latte-style drinks. This premium matcha stands out for its intensity and the way its balanced flavour opens up when mixed with milk.
Compared to our ceremonial grade, the leaves were shaded for a shorter period. As a result, the colour is naturally lighter and the higher catechin content brings a gentle, pleasant bitterness. This gives the matcha enough strength to stay expressive in milk-based drinks.
The flavour is rich and complex, yet smooth enough to enjoy with just water.
Our premium matcha has a rich and complex taste. This type of Matcha is intended for making Matcha latte drinks, but since it has only a subtle bitterness, it can also be enjoyed with just water.
Matcha Latte recipe: Mix 1 teaspoon of Haruka Matcha with 25 ml of 70 degree water and whisk. Then add about 225 ml of whipped hot or cold milk of your choice.
Matcha Ice-Shake recipe: Place ice cubes in a 250 ml glass and pour the milk of your choice to the top. Pour the contents into a blender, add 2 teaspoons of Oishii Matcha Supreme and your sweetener of choice. Mix for about 30 seconds.
