    Lightly oxidized spring oolong from Nepal with a delicate sweetness and floral aroma.

  • For this tea, a very sophisticated process is used to prepare the first flush oolong from Nepal. Soon after picking the delicate green tea leaves from the highest sections of the tea garden, the leaves are bruised on bamboo mats, then they are withered, rolled and semi-oxidized until a fine balance of flavors is achieved. The leaves are large, dark brown, twisted and with a few silver buds. The cup is golden brown to chestnut in color and the taste is mildly sweet and fragrant. It is delicate and complex with notes of flowers and herbs with a lovely lingering aftertaste that almost gently prickles on the back of your tongue.
