The leaves for this Himalayan Bouquet tea are specially grown in the highest plantation areas, reaching up to 1400 meters above sea level. Soon after picking the delicate green tea leaves from the highest sections of the tea garden, the leaves are bruised on bamboo mats, then they are withered, rolled and semi-oxidized until a fine balance of flavors is achieved. The tea leaves are large, dark brown, twisted and with a few silver buds. The color of the tea ranges from golden brown to chestnut. The taste is gently sweetened, deep, and complex, with notes of biscuits and floral undertones.
