    What is kombucha?

Kombucha is a raw, naturally fermented tea drink rich in probiotics, organic acids, digestive enzymes and antioxidants. Kombucha originated in Asia, where it has been produced and appreciated for its probiotic and antioxidant properties for several thousand years. This lively drink is produced with the help of good bacteria and yeast. Its beneficial properties and distinctive taste have led to a renaissance in recent times.

    Production of Kombucha drink

Kombucha is made from water, tea, sugar (which is converted into organic acids during fermentation) and kombucha culture (a symbiosis of good bacteria and yeasts). These ingredients, left to ferment in a warm environment, will produce a delicious, refreshing and nutrient-rich drink. With the Kombucha Kit, you can make 1l of Kombucha per week. You can then increase the amount of fermented tea according to the growth rate of the tea fungus. The tea mushroom has no expiry date and will produce kombucha for you as long as you look after it. If you want to take a break or go on a long trip, the tea mushroom can be put in a sealed container and kept in the fridge.
