This kombucha SCOBY is designed for confident brewers who want reliable results and fast fermentation.
Our SCOBY is packed in a strong, active culture of beneficial bacteria and yeast, allowing you to ferment up to 3 liters of kombucha immediately. With proper conditions, it will produce well-balanced, flavorful kombucha in approximately 7 days.
As fermentation continues, the SCOBY naturally thickens and develops. After a few weeks, the newly formed culture can be separated and used for additional batches, experimental fermentations, or shared with fellow kombucha makers.
Storage & Fermentation Guidelines
For best results, begin fermentation as soon as possible after purchase.
While the SCOBY remains viable in its sealed pouch for up to 3 months, a fresher culture ensures a smoother, more predictable fermentation.
Before fermentation, store the SCOBY at room temperature. Do not refrigerate.
Once kombucha is fully fermented, store it in the refrigerator and avoid exposure to warm environments.
