  • Japanese matcha is ground from spring tea leaves with an authentic stone mill for latte-style drinks. The main characteristic of Oishii Matcha Supreme is its intensity. Drinking this type of matcha with milk reveals its balanced taste. The essential difference that separates our premium type from the ceremonial type is that tea leaves used for making Oishii Matcha Supreme  have been exposed to the sun for a longer time, so their color is not as intense green as the ceremonial type. Due to the longer exposure to the sun's rays, the higher amount of catechides in the tea gives it a little more bitterness, which is necessary to maintain the intensity of the matcha when prepared with the milk of choice.

    Our premium matcha has a rich and complex taste. This type of Matcha is intended for making Matcha latte drinks, but since it has only a subtle bitterness, it can also be enjoyed with just water.

    Matcha Latte recipe: Mix 1 teaspoon of Oishii, Matcha Supreme with 25 ml of 70 degree water and mix. Then add about 200 ml of whipped hot or cold milk of your choice.

    Matcha Ice-Shake recipe: Place ice cubes in a 250 ml glass and pour the milk of your choice to the top. Pour the contents into a blender, add 2 teaspoons of Oishii Matcha Supreme and your sweetener of choice. Mix for about 30 seconds.
